After seeing the venue and decor, not to mention wearing some beautiful pieces from Chanel, I didn't think it could get any better. But once the collection appeared on the boardwalk turned catwalk, I was so wrong. The collection should have been called "The Perfect Spring/Summer Wardrobe." It had everything you would want for a chic and sophisticated wardrobe during the warmer months. Straw hats and bags, summer suits made of their classic tweed, flowy dresses, denim, etc. etc. etc. It was a never-ending show of me thinking "want, need, have to have."
Chanel has always been, in my opinion, the master at details. I was so in love with the quirky, summer details they added to their accessories. The sea shell purse, the classic Chanel bag made of a towel-like fabric, and the jewelry and belts were insane.
It was so difficult to choose which photos I wanted to share from this collection, but now I can't even imagine me trying to decide on a piece to choose for my own wardrobe. The most memorable part of my fashion month experience. Thank you, Chanel, for having me! Xx Darja
I truly believe everyone attending Paris Fashion Week is secretly awaiting the Chanel show. This year's SS19 presentation was so well worth that wait. The Grand Palais is already such an amazing piece of architecture, but when Karl Lagerfeld touches it, it turns into something out of my dreams.
The space was an idyllic beach, with actual sand, a working tide and a beach hut with a long boardwalk served as the catwalk. Obviously people come for the collection, but I stay for the venue and decor. When a brand takes the surroundings and turns it into the essence and inspiration behind the collection, it's what makes fashion art.
I was so in love with Chanel's SS19 show during Paris Fashion Week; everything was so iconic with the setting, collection, surroundings.. I want to break down the entire event. First up, street style photos while on the way to the show, wearing none other than classic Chanel.

I have been quite busy lately with weddings, fashion weeks, birthdays etc. So I thought it would be fun to update with some snapshots of my life over the past few months.
Dinner with Boyy during Copenhagen Fashion Week. How amazing is this monogrammed table setting?
Still OBSESSED with these boots from the H&M Studio collection I wore during Oslo Runway. I love the western, boot trend happening this fall.
I was lucky enough to spend a couple weekends in Italy for weddings this year. Here I'm in Venice celebrating my dear friend, Phoebe. She was a stunning bride and had the most amazing wedding and wedding weekend I've ever seen. I mean, look at this breath-taking staircase!
Pit stop in my home country for the Omega "Her Time" exhibit opening. Loved being back "home" for a little bit and meeting Nicole Kidman with an amazing group of women.
On my way to my birthday dinner. I had the most amazing birthday, feeling grateful for another year.
Attended the Rodebjer store opening here in Oslo. Such an amazing store with its decor and collection, so happy to finally be in the same city as this brand.
I was so honored to be one of those listed in the VogueWorld 100 Street Style alongside some of my closest friends and colleagues.
Landed in Paris for Paris Fashion Week. Such an amazing week so far with so many incredible collections like what I saw at the Hermes show.
I hope you enjoyed this little update from me. Looking forward to sharing more from my fall season so far with you. Xx Darja
The Loewe SS19 show was incredible, which was no surprise to me at all. The brand creates some of the most beautiful pieces and this year, the show matched and exceeded my expectations.
The space was held inside the Maison de l'UNESCO in Paris and was made of several parts. Spinning car wash brushes, rustic woven baskets, a room full of record players with spinning ceramics, bubbles, etc. It was unexpected and felt like an art museum.
The collection itself had so much texture and color! I loved the mixing of knits, feathers, silk, fringe etc. Each look was so intricate and full of detail. The safari-chic vibe the collection gave off was modern and bold.
Loewe has really made itself a prominent brand for bags. The puzzle bag has become the "it item" over the last years and with the SS19 show, I added more to my list.
They took the classic summer beach tote and made it a bold, statement piece. The straw itself is thick and in various colors and styles. I was obsessed with the different handles as well; chain-link, leather that ties, belt. I cannot wait to get my hands on one.
Tine Andrea and I are here in Paris together for Paris Fashion Week and this photo shows exactly the kind of time we've been having. Can't wait to share more from this week with you all. Happy Sunday! Xx Darja
I am a firm believer that a red lip counts as an accessory. It can be the perfect finish to a daytime or night out look. Classy, sexy, sophisticated, there are so many ways to wear it. Finding the perfect shade can sometimes be the issue. Dior recently introduced the Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge collection and it is the perfect solution to that problem. So many shades, 22 to be exact, from berry-colored "Ultra Hype" to bold, brick red "Ultra Feminine." I will definitely be adding this accessory to my bag for fall.
I recently hosted a lunch for some of my closest friends and colleagues to introduce the Woman by Ralph Lauren fragrance. We enjoyed a delicious, Asian meal while we talked about the fragrance and the inspiration behind it.
This is the first female scent Ralph Lauren has created in 10 years, taking inspiration from the mix of masculinity and femininity. The scent captures both so well with bold tuberose and rich, vibrant woods.
The bottle is designed differently than most fragrances I've seen, and could easily serve as a piece of decor in the home. The shape design resembles a flask, with rose gold finishes to embody the feminine side of the fragrance.
Putting together the table setting was so much fun and something I definitely wouldn't mind doing again. I really wanted the decor to resemble the fragrance, feminine yet bold. I chose light colors and gold accents. I am obsessed with these plates and the monogrammed boxes each of the girls got to take their fragrances home in.
It's always such a good time when this group gets together. I say this often, but the celebration of womanhood is so important to me, so being able to collaborate with this fragrance and the story behind it was the highlight of my week.
I hope the girls enjoyed themselves and left feeling full of delicious food, smelling amazing and like always, feeling proud to be a woman. #leadlikeawoman Xx Darja

I am SO obsessed with the Smeg x Dolce&Gabbana collaboration. The designs are amazing and make me want to move to Italy immediately. I love modern interior with interesting contrast, especially in the kitchen, so these pieces are perfect for that type of style.
